Ballistik Youth is the teenage youth ministry of Gateway Church. It caters for high-school students between the
ages of 12 and 18 years old. Ballistik youth has been under the guidance and care of Youth Pastors Lee and Naomi Eden for the past 6 years. The youth groups aim is to see young people have an encounter with Jesus and the Holy spirit. At the same time it is imperative to have heaps of fun and have some good times! Every friday night of term from 7pm till 930pm. Buses run weekly from Flinders Peak. bkidz
Bk56 is a community youth group for all primary school students. The main aspect is FUN! We run a varied program for the young people ranging from. Arts and Crafts, Cooking, Singing Dancing and Drama, Percussion (making and playing), Sports and Games & other programs from time to time. It caters for all primary school students.
A focus for BK56 has been bridging the gap between highschool and years 5 and 6. Our approach to this has been a exciting step! We have a commited group of teenagers who volunteer their own time every friday night to come and input and build strong relationships with the BK56 young people. These teenagers have become known as BKREW. They range from year 10 - 12 and have been doing an awesome Job. The main reason that we have come up with this structure is so that when the year 6's go to highschool... They have built relationship with older highschoolers already and it also makes it easier for them to come and get involved with the older youth program as they have good relationship with the bkcrew.
If you have young people who are in primary school This is the place for them to come every Friday night between 5:30 and 7 pm. It only costs two dollars and is on every friday night of the school term!. www.gatewayyouth.org.au/bkkidz
Launch is the program for toddlers up to primary schoolers. It incorporates different classes that are age specific and is headed up by Ps. Grant Jackson and his team.
Launch 2 bk is our program that is designed for the years 5,6,7 & 8 students. It is headed up by Trent and Fiona and their team of youung adults and older teenagers. It is tailor made for this age group with games, bible study, communion, offering and praise and worship with the main church.
Gateway Assist
Gateway Assist is the care arm of Gateway International Church. Through a variety of areas we have been reaching  ?the community and caring for various groups of people. We embarked 4 years ago in the area of training and retraining individuals in specific skills. These skills are broad! Anything from Cooking, Motor mechanics, Computers and Multimedia, Welding, Bike Mechanics, Timber Carpentry, Landscaping amongst others. We have also been able to help other groups providing them with Lawnmowers, Bicycles, Graphic Design, DVD Authoring, Food Parcels for families.
In particular we have been able to help the increasing population of Sudanese families that are settling in Geelong. We have seen this as an amazing opportunity to impact our city. More importantly we look forward to doing more to see this city care for and encouraged.
